The drop-down menu for birth year doesn't go back far enough, so I set it to 2011. I was born at New York city and have lived in various places both Occidental and Oriental. Subjectively-chosen highlights: U.S. Air Force Security Service, 1965-69, Radio Intercept Analysis Specialist; University of Oregon School of Journalism, B.Sc., 1973; Lane County Chapter, Vietnam Veterans Against the War; worked in positions of increasing responsibility within the journalistic media of magazines, newspapers, radio and television; retired.

That photograph is titled "The Traveller" and was made by Simon Turner whilst we were visiting old St. Michael's Cathedral (ruined by air raid on 14th November 1940) at Coventry, West Midlands, England, U.K., on 4th October 2008. I've lived at Portland in Oregon for many years. My pastimes include appreciating the arts and keeping cats, plus reading and writing.
